I have been in the health and fitness industry now for over a decade, and one thing that I see time and time again is this: When 40 arrives, things start to change quickly.In our twenties, we all think we're bulletproof. Our limbs are strong, our joints are supple, our balance is good and injuries are almost non-existent, but as time goes by and the business of life takes over, it can be easy to take your eye off the ball.Now our bodies are truly amazing things and they adapt as our life changes, but they aren't miracle workers. I cannot tell you the amount of times I see someone who has been largely inactive for years decide to try and improve their fitness by jumping straight back to what they used to be able to do, only to suffer an injury and set themselves back even further.In fact, I AM one of those people.At 35, having spent a couple of years away from strength training, I jumped back into the gym full of energy only to seriously injure my back and set myself back another 6 months.In the years since, I have taken a mindfulness based body-first approach to my training and now focus my attention on how to stay physically fit and injury free without spending hours in the gym each week. In fact, I now spend less than 2 hours each week training, and it's this methodology that I bring to my client work.I work with a variety of people, but they all have one thing in common: Un unwavering commitment to be the healthiest, happiest versions of themselves.If you share that commitment, then I'd love to hear from you

Online Psychotherapy is ideal for those who are unable to attend in person and can be a convenient way to access my services. It is ideal for you if you live outside of Somerset or if you frequently travel.It is possible to see me both online and in person during our time together and we will discuss the best approach during your initial appointment.
